Learning Management System (Brightspace)

SUNY Buffalo State College is transitioning its Learning Management System — the tool you use to access your course materials (Blackboard Learn) will change to Desire2Learn (D2L) Brightspace. Beginning in the Fall 2022 semester, some courses will use the new system, and in J-Term 2023 and then fully in Spring 2023 course materials will be accessed on Brightspace. This change is part of a SUNY-wide initiative to provide a consistent environment for student learning across the SUNY system.

Plagiarism Detection (Turnitin Feedback Studio)

Turnitin Feedback Studio is a similar text detection software that instructors may require students to use at Buffalo State. This software may be used as an educational tool to assist students in learning how to properly cite resources, to decrease instances of academic misconduct, and/or to assist in the identification of acts of academic misconduct.
