Do you have questions about our web accessibility policy and standards, or have a web accessibility concern you would like to report? The campus community and members of the public are encouraged to open a ticket to initiate a request with the college's web team.
Standard Features
The Marketing and Communications Office provides support for web accessibility on campus. Buffalo State official websites are compliant with Section 508, sub-part B, 1194.22 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. Websites generated from the college’s official installation of Drupal, Buffalo State’s content management system, that do not include user-entered custom code and styling and include alt tags with images meet these accessibility guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:
- Client is responsible for providing details related to the request when opening a ticket and throughout the process.
Web Team Responsibilities:
- Review concerns and address as needed
- Consult with requestors if more information is needed
- Provide information about our policy and standards as requested
