Technology items purchased through your department

Departments are responsible for purchasing the items below. If a consultation is needed before a purchase is made, IT staff can offer assistance via a request to the IT Help Desk. 

  • External Storage (external hard drives, USB flash drives, SD memory cards)
  • iPad Accessories (cabinets, cases/covers, keyboards, cables)
  • Microphones/Headsets
  • Scanners 
  • Non-Standard Keyboards/Mice (ergonomic, wireless, etc)
  • Non-Standard Speakers (Bose, Pioneer, etc)
  • Optical Drives (CD/DVD)
  • Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges
  • Special Cables/Adapters (micro-USB, USB hubs, serial adapters, other legacy items)

Technology items purchased through IT

The items below can be purchased through IT. Our staff will assist with the ordering process and installation (if necessary), and may track these items as state-owned inventory. More information on Hardware Pricing can be found here.

  • Network printers (e.g. laser jet)
  • Local printers (e.g. ink jet)
