To Post A Message Using A Visix Template

  1. In your browser, go to the Visix web portal address: https://signage.buffalostate.edu/manage/
  2. By default, you should be directed to the Overview page for AxisTV Manage. Scroll to the "Schedule Message" window near the middle/bottom of the page.
    1. Select the playlist you would like to add content to.
    2. Select "Pick & Fill" to utilize a system template.
      If you prefer to upload a content file instead, select "Media File" and refer to the Content Upload article for the rest of the process.
    3. Select "Schedule."visix overview screen
  3. Select a template from the menu. Templates ending with "Wide BSC" are recommended, unless you have a specific use case that requires something else. Once you highlight the template, click the arrow in the lower right corner to advance.template selection screen
  4. Enter your message name, text, and set the image (if applicable). Now click "Save to Continue."template content entry
  5. Double check your message name, text, and image (if applicable). Under the "Play" heading, enter the desired duration for your message.template confirmation and duration menu
  6. In the right pane of the window, you will see scheduling options for your content. Content may be set to run forever, during a "one-time" window, or during a "recurring" window. Once your desired schedule is set, click a button next to "Add To" to add your content to the beginning, middle, or end of the playlist.scheduling pane
  7. Above the schedule pane, a "Finished" button will appear. Click this once you are done.
  8. Your content has been added!
