Academic Spaces:
Projector lamp replacements in academic classrooms will be funded out of the Technology Fee and installed by TSS Classroom Support. The term "academic classrooms" is defined as those academic classrooms that are listed as such in the Buffalo State Physical Space Inventory.
Classroom Support has a stock of lamps for many of the projectors found in our educational spaces. Technicians are usually able to replace these lamps within less then 24 hours.
Conference Rooms / Administrative Spaces:
Projectors lamps that are installed conference rooms or other administrative spaces are to be funded by the department that is assigned the room in the Physical Space Inventory. If Classroom Support has the particular lamp needed in stock, an accounting journal transfer form will be completed to cover the cost of the lamp. If Classroom Support doesn't have a lamp in stock for a particular projector, assistance will be provided to the requesting department to obtain a quotation for a lamp that follows New York State Procurement Guidelines.
In either case, if a projector lamp has failed and is in need of replacement, please follow this link to have it replaced.
