Reports about students may not show all items when course is inactive. If running reports after the semester, be sure course is active prior to running any reports.
Types of Reports
The widget displays high-level aggregate information about the course and links to course-specific Brightspace Insights reports and is a default on the Buffalo State course home page.

The Class Progress tool tracks your learners' overall progress as a course and individually and is located in the My Performance drop down.
You may want to use the Class Progress tool to do any of the following:
- Monitor progress for any or all users in your course
- Prepare progress reports
- View user profiles, email users, or instant message users
- Track when a user accesses the course and downloads course content
- Track a user's grades, completion of learning objectives, access of content topics, participation in discussions, assignment submissions, quiz submissions, checklist completion, survey responses, login history, and system access.
- Set up Intelligent Agents for learners who are falling behind in a course
- View feedback and submissions for assignments, discussion topics, and other assessments for individual learners
Progress Summary - Click on the student's name –
Hover over any of the indicators’ charts to get more detailed information about that indicator. To view a detailed report for a user's progress indicator, click the indicator.
- The Content Report allow you to see statistics on which of your students viewed each module in your course and can be located in Course Tools dropdown.

Customizing Your Reports
When in Class Progress reports can be customized by clicking on " Settings". Class progress can only show 4 report types, but there are others available.
- Data summary can be replaced, move up, move down
- Color coding by grades
