Look up your network username

Your Buffalo State network username is used to access most campus systems, such as the Bengal Success Portal, D2L Brightspace and Degree Works. If you don't know your network username, follow these steps to look it up from Banner. (Note: if you have trouble accessing Banner, visit this page for instructions on resetting your Banner PIN).

  1. Visit the student Banner page and click Log in to Banner.
  2. Enter your User ID and PIN, and click Login.
  3. Navigate to the Personal Information section and click Setup or Reset Student Network Password.
  4. Your network username is displayed at the top of the page.

Please Note: You can also set up or reset your network password from this screen. To do this,  enter a new password in the New and Confirm boxes and click Submit. Your new password must be at least 15 characters long and is case sensitive.
