Google Classroom Course Request

Service Description

Faculty within the School of Education may request access for students pursuing careers in K-12 education and who are registered in courses teaching the use of Google Classroom.

Be advised that access and related content for students will be deleted 30 days following the end of the semester.

Standard Features

Create Google accounts for students registered for a course in the School of Education.

There are no optional features associated with this service.

Roles and Responsibilities

User Responsibilities: 

  • User is responsible for providing details related to the request (course semester, course name, course number and section, course CRN).

IT Responsibilities:

  • IT staff will communicate the status of the request to the user as needed.

Service Level Agreement

Response and resolution times are based on operational hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM).

Resolution Time 5 business days
Please Note: Response Time is measured from ticket submission date/time until the ticket is moved to an 'In Process' status. Resolution Time is measured from ticket submission date/time until the ticket is completed/resolved. A ticket in an 'On Hold' status (e.g. IT is waiting for additional information from the requestor/HR/SUNY etc.) does not count toward the Resolution Time.
