Service Description
Buffalo State uses the Drupal content management system (CMS) to house the main site, key custom subsites, academic department sites, and administrative office sites. The CMS includes campus wide access to unique templates designed specifically for academic departments/programs and administrative offices.
The Web Team provides direct timely assistance to the campus community in the form of website planning and assessment, web development, web content development and support, Drupal training, and web analytics.
Standard Features
Standard Service Features include:
- New Drupal Site: request a new campus website
- Drupal Site Access: request administrative access for new Primary Web Contacts (PWCs); Note: chairs, directors, associate deans, or supervisors submit ticket
- Drupal Support: request help with an existing Drupal site
Please Note: All Primary Web Contacts (PWCs) must attend a one-time training session. Visit the Workshop Registration System to register.
Directory Updates: Human Resource Management maintains the faculty/staff and department/office directories (including campus address, phone, fax, or e-mail). Submit directory update.

Roles and Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:
- Client is responsible for providing details related to the request when opening a ticket.
- Client is responsible for adding site content and maintaining site.
Web Team Responsibilities:
- Web Team will consult with requestor to determine needs, timeline, etc.
- Web Team will provide assistance with site features, layout, design.
- Web Team will provide training for Primary Web Contacts (PWCs).
