Service Description

Our Video Production team is able to help create professional multimedia projects that support the development and production of curricular, marketing, and event related videos. This form helps us determine how to best support you in your video/multimedia project. 

Please Note: Projects need at least three weeks' lead time before production and additional time for editing.Timelines for projects that involve Information Technology are dependent on the project.

Standard Features

Standard Service Features include:

  • Concept Development
  • Field Capture
  • Studio Capture 
  • Live-Stream scheduling & production
  • Pre-production planning (scheduling of talent, crew, equipment, script development)
  • Post-production editing (may require consultation with requestor)

Optional Features

Optional Service Features include:

  • Chroma key / green screen capture and compositing
  • Live-Event coverage can be recorded for re-broadcast and/or post production
  • Integration with outside vendor equipment (requires prior written authorization)
  • Motion Graphic Design
  • Off-campus audio/video capture (please note: requires prior written authorization, travel budget for crew, and is supported only as available resources allow (staff and equipment) 
  • Teleprompter (script required by customer)
  • Utilization of Music Library 

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities:

  • Client must provide adequate information (media, scripts, any supporting documents or video examples), and maintain communication with production team.
  • Client is required to close caption all content (ADA Compliance) and ensure accuracy if using "auto-caption" features. Captioning services are available through Instructional Design and Training for a nominal fee.
  • Client is required to manage distribution and signing and return of release forms if necessary.
  • Client must obtain express written permission from copyright holder to use copyrighted material (content not created by Creative Media Services cannot be edited).
  • Services are available only for use related to academics and college business.
  • Travel considerations may include per diem or other charges.
  • Respond to ticket inquiries in a timely manner. Project may put on hold if requestor is unresponsive or does not complete necessary steps. 

Video Production Responsibilities:

  • Video Production will consult with requestor to determine needs, costs, time line etc.
  • Video Production will communicate the status of the project to the requestor as needed.
  • Video Production will coordinate with requestor and involved individuals to align project goals with final product. 
  • Video Production will provide up to (2) revisions to final edit.

Service Pricing

Charges may apply for captioning, additional content (audio/visual), or grant funded projects.
