Some department Ricoh printers require you to enter a personal "User Code" in order to print. The instructions below explain how to save this code in printing preferences on your PC, so you only need to enter the code once.
Please Note: The printer name and user code shown below is for instructional purposes only. You will have a unique printer name and user code.
1. Click the Start button and type "control" in the search box.
2. Select Control Panel from the list.
3. Under Hardware and Sound, click the View devices and printers link.
4. Right-click on the network printer name that you will be printing to and select Printing preferences.
5. Select the Detailed Settings tab, click on Job Setup, and enter your personal code on the User Code text box. Click Apply and OK.
You should now be able to print to this printer without having to manually enter your User Code each time.
