Renew the secure wireless certificate on an iPhone

Please Note: The steps in this guide may be slightly different depending on the version of iOS you're iPhone is running.

If the secure wireless certificate on your iPhone has expired, follow the steps below to renew the certificate. 

Step 1: Remove old secure wireless profile

  1. Tap Settings > General > Profile. If your device is running iOS 15, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
  2. Tap DVA_Student if you are a student or DVA_FS-NSL if you are faculty/staff.

Tap on profile to be removed

  1. Tap Remove Profile.

Tap remove profile

  1. Enter your phone’s passcode.
  2. Tap Delete.
  3. Power off your phone and then turn it back on.
