Run an Ally Report

  1. Log in to Brightspace and open your course
  2. Click on Course Tools
  3. Click Ally Course Report (scroll to the  bottom of the list)
    • The Overview Tab will provide a list of "Remaining Issues" by Severity and Issue Type
    • The Content Tab will provide a list of all of your content, the number of issues in the document, and the accessibility score
  4. Navigate to a document and click on the accessibility score
  5. The document will appear along with the issues and the steps on how to remediate the file.
  6. Download the file and make the appropriate corrections within the program they were created in (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  7. Save the new accessible document in the appropriate location
  8. On Ally screen, browse to the new document and replace it with the new file.
    NOTE: Do not delete the document and add the new one; you must replace the document within Ally, so that the old, inaccessible file no longer exists in the course.
