In order to use SMART Notebook basic in rooms that have SMART interactive whiteboards, you will need to log in. Here are the steps for creating an account and logging in for the first time.
1. Open SMART Notebook software.
2. It will open up the following screen in your default Web browser. Select Sign in with Microsoft (Google would work if you do not have a Microsoft account or are a student)
3. Enter your Buffalo state faculty/staff email account. Click Next.
4. Choose Work or School Account
5. Log in with your Buffalo State username and password.
6. Click OK, and you are now able to use SMART Notebook basic. SMART Learning Suite premium features require a license that would need to be purchased.
