At-home access to SPSS for faculty, staff and students

Follow the steps below to download SPSS on your personal device:

1. Go to BSC Software Download site and sign-in with Buffalo State credentials.
2. Select the SPSS 31 version you need (PC or Mac) and click Download Now.
3. When download is complete, open/extract the zip file (SPSS31-Win.zip).
4. Double click on the install/EXE file (e.g. "SPSS31-Win.exe").
5. The application installer will start.
6. Click Next when the InstallShield Wizard screen appears.
7. Accept the license agreement, click Next.
8. On the Destination Folder screen, leave the default and click Next.
9. On the Ready to Install screen, click Install.
10. Click Finished when the install is complete.
11. Click Launch License Authorization Wizard.
12. On the Product Authorization screen, leave Authorized user license selected and click Next.
13. Enter the authorization code (shown in the directions on the BSC Software Download site) and click Next.
14. You should get get a message that the authorization was successful. Click Next and then Finish.
