Spring 2022 Update:
SPSS is available to for download (for academic use only).
Follow the steps below to download SPSS on your personal device:
Go to
BSC Software Download
site and sign-in with
Buffalo State credentials
.
Select the SPSS 28 version you need (PC or Mac) and click
Download Now
.
When download is complete, open the zip file.
Open
SPSS28
application. The application installer will start.
Click
Next
when the
InstallShield Wizard
screen appears.
Accept the
license agreement
, click
Next
.
On the
Install Essentials for Python
screen, leave
Yes
and click
Next
.
Accept the
license agreement
, click
Next
.
Accept the
license agreement
again, click
Next
.
On the
Destination Folder
screen, leave the default and click
Next
.
On the
Ready to Install
screen, click
Install
.
When the install is finished, leave the
Start SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard
now option checked and click
Finish
.
On the
Product Authorization
screen, leave
Authorized user license
selected and click
Next
.
Enter the
authorization code
(shown in the directions on the
BSC Software Download
site) and click
Next
.
You should get a message that the authorization was successful. Click
Next
and then
Finish
.
