Please Note: The steps in this guide may be slightly different depending on the version of iOS you're iPhone is running.
Follow the steps below to enroll an iPhone on the secure wireless network.
- Open your list of wireless networks by going to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Temporarily connect to the BengalOpen16 network and sign-in with your Buffalo State credentials when prompted.
- You'll be automatically redirected to the Secure WiFi enrollment page.
- Tap Enroll Your Device. If prompted to Open in "Safari"? choose Open.
- Tap Continue when the Welcome to Buffalo State Secure WiFi screen appears.
- Tap Normal Login.
- Enter your Buffalo State username and password, tap Continue.
- Tap Download for Mac 10.7 & Newer.
- Tap Allow if you see the This website is trying to download a configuration profile prompt.
- Tap Close when you see a Profile Downloaded message.
- Return to Settings and tap General > Profile. If your device is running iOS 15, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
- Tap DVB_Student or DVB_FS-NSL.
- Tap Install on the Install Profile screen. Enter your phone's passcode to install the profile.
- Tap Install again at the Warning screen. Tap Install a third time when prompted.
- Tap Done at the Profile Installed screen.
Your device should now be connected to the Bengal wireless network. If your device doesn't connect automatically, try toggling your wireless off and back on.
