Adding Funds to Your Bengal Card for Printing

Several computer labs on campus have pay-to-print printers in them that allow students to pay for printing using their Buffalo State ID card. These instructions explain how to add money to your Bengal ID Card that can be used for printing.

  1. Locate a Bengal Card Kiosk, found in both the StudyQuad of Butler Library and outside of the Bookstore in the Student Union. Bengal Card Kiosk
  2. On the Bengal Card Kiosk, select Deposit by selecting the according button on the right hand side. Image of the deposit screen
  3. Select whether or not you would like a receipt printed following the transaction.
  4. Insert your Bengal ID card into the kiosk, with the mag stripe UP on your card. This typically requires inserting your card upside down, as shown in the photo. Image of Bengal ID Card with mag stripe UP
  5. To add funds to your print account, select Bengal Bucs on the kiosk.
  6. Select which payment option you will be using (Credit/Debit, or Cash)

If cash is selected:

  1. Insert the amount of cash you wish to deposit to your account. The machine accepts bills of any denomination.
  2. Once the cash is inserted, select Done by selecting the according button on the right hand side.
  3. The kiosk will process your request. Once it is complete, you will see a confirmation screen, along with a receipt if you had selected the option to do so.

If credit/debit is selected:

  1. Input the amount of money you wish to deposit by typing in a numerical value on the keypad. Screen on Bengal Card Kiosk that reads "Enter $ Amount: enter amount between $1.00 and $9999.00""
  2. Insert your credit/debit card in the card slot on the right hand side of the machine. This may take a while to process your transaction.
