Some department Ricoh printers require you to enter a personal "User Code" in order to print. The instructions below explain how to save this code in printing preferences on your PC, so you only need to enter the code once.
Please Note: The printer name and user code shown below is for instructional purposes only. You will have a unique printer name and user code.
1. Open the Windows Start menu and type "control" in the search box, and then choose Control Panel from the results.

2. Under Hardware and Sound, click the View devices and printers link.

3. Choose Printers & scanners from the category list, then select the printer name which needs the user code.
4. When the page for your printer opens, choose Printing preferences. In the new panel under the Basic tab, click the User Code Settings button. Enter your personal user code, click OK and then click Apply.

You should now be able to print to this printer without having to manually enter your User Code each time.
