How to access Outlook email (M365)

Learn how to access your campus-provided email and set up the Outlook desktop/mobile apps.

Faculty, staff and students can access e-mail from a browser or by using the Outlook mobile or desktop app. 

Access Outlook from your browser

Using a normal web-browser, you can sign into Office 365 to access your campus e-mail.

When you visit the link above, sign-in using your Buffalo State e-mail address (this will be your Network username@buffalostate.edu), alongside your Network password

Download the Outlook mobile app (optional)

Download the Outook app to your mobile device to access e-mail from your phone or tablet.

When you launch the app for the first time, sign-in using your Buffalo State e-mail address (e.g. username@buffalostate.edu) and Network password

Download the Outlook desktop app (optional)

Windows and Mac OS computers can download the Microsoft Office (M365) suite of apps, which includes the Outlook desktop application.
