Information Technology has made the macOS Monterey upgrade available to Macs that are compatible with the new OS. Follow the steps below to perform an in-place upgrade.
Laptop Users: You’ll want to make sure the power adapter for your laptop is connected before you begin the upgrade.
Step-By-Step Guide
- Open the Self Service application and sign-in with your Buffalo State credentials.
- On the right side, click macOS Monterey Upgrade and then click Install.
- Read the Install macOS Monterey message and click Install.
Please Note: The upgrade process should now begin. Your computer will restart to continue the process. Please allow at least one hour to complete the upgrade.
