Service Offering Title Degree Works Access
Service Offering Description Degree Works is Buffalo State’s Advising Support / Degree Audit System, a Web-based tool to help students and advisors monitor students’ progress toward degree completion.  Integrated with Banner, the campus Student Information System, Degree Works provides real time degree audit sheets, “what if” analysis of program changes, and unofficial transcript information.

Students have access to Degree Works to view placement of transfer and Buffalo State courses toward their degree requirements, and can use Degree Works to see the impact (on degree requirements) of a change in program. 

Advisors use Degree Works to view student progress toward a degree, document exceptions to standard degree requirements, and assist students with course registration planning for future terms.

How to Request Service and/or Support Student access to Degree Works is granted upon acceptance – requires activation of network credentials;
Degree Works access is granted at the time campus accounts are created for faculty and staff, with specific authorization based on campus affiliation;
