Pharos Secure Print to Toshiba Bypass Tray
Pharos allows you to securely print documents to any device on the Managed Print Services network using your Buffalo State ID or designated passcode.
Select the Pharos Secure Printer
- When printing, select the Pharos Secure Printer from the drop-down list.
- Here are examples of what that will look like in Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and PDF files.


Select the Bypass Tray
- Select Printer Properties or Properties
- Select the Media & Quality tab
- Select Bypass Tray from the Input Tray drop down menu and click OK

Access Device
- Account authentication is required in order to print
- Scan your Bengal ID or select Passcode Login to enter your passcode


Pharos Secure Print Menu
- Place the alternate print materials (labels, colored paper, other specialty paper, etc.) in the bypass try on the right side of the device.
- You will have two options for printing:
- Review Documents – Use this option to view a list of all of the documents you have sent to the Pharos Secure Printer and select additional print/retain options available (detailed in the Pharos Secure Print instructions).
- Print All – Use this option to simply print all of the documents you have sent to the Pharos Secure Printer and remove them from the print queue.

More Device Options
- After selecting the Print All or Review Documents and Print option, you will see a message at the bottom of the screen that says “Check the machine status”

- Select More Device Options from the Pharos Secure Print Menu

- This will take you to the Toshiba home screen.
- Select the yellow “i” icon in the upper right corner.

- At the Job Status menu, select the job to be printed and select the Print option.

- If the Bypass Feed option is not highlighted (as in the image below), select it and then press the blue Print button on the machine (to the right of the screen).

Sign Out
- Select “Sign Out” when done.
