Self-enrollment using the Discover tool
The Discover tool allows instructors to self-enroll in select courses and organizations. Currently, instructors can use the Discover tool to access online courses for observation that have been collected by SUNY Online as exemplar models of course design.
Self-enrollment is not available for academic credit courses.
Using the Discover Tool
- Login to Brightspace.
- Click on the Discover link, located on the top navigation bar.
- View the list of courses or use the search bar to search for a course.
- Select a course title.
- Select Enroll in Course.
- Select Open Course to access it.
- Once you have enrolled in the course it will appear under “My Courses” on the Brightspace home page.
