The Accommodations tool provides the option to grant a student extended time for all existing and future quizzes in Brightspace. Using this tool will apply the accommodation to all of that student’s quizzes (or tests) in the course.

Provide Quiz Accommodations to a Student

1. Access your Brightspace course.
2. Go to Course Tools > Roster.
3. Select the dropdown arrow next to a student’s name and choose Edit Accommodations.
   
4. Choose the accommodations settings appropriate for the student. You can enter a multiplier or a set number of minutes.
5. Click Save.
6. Once a student has quiz accommodations assigned to them, you will see an accommodations  icon next to their name in the roster.

View Students with Accommodations in Brightspace

1. Access your Brightspace course.
2. Go to Course Tools > Roster.
3. Click Show Search Options to expand your search.
   
4. Check the box for Users with Accommodations.
   
5. Leave the search field empty and click the Search icon .
6. You will see all users within your course roster with accommodations you have added in Brightspace.
