In the Bengal Success Portal, you can filter your students by attribute to show current students who are not registered for the upcoming semester.

1. In the Bengal Success Portal, click on the menu.
   
2. Click on Students.
3. Click on the My Students tab.
4. Click on Add Filters.
   
5. Click on Attributes.
   
6. Click Add Attribute.
   
7. If you want to find current students who have not registered for an upcoming semester, use the Attribute drop down menu to select the current or most recent semester. For example, if you want to find current students who are not registered for Fall, you'd select Registered for Spring.
8. Under Value, select Assigned to Student.
   
9. Click on Add Attribute.
   
   • Use the Attribute drop down menu to choose between Registered for Fall, J-Term, Spring, or Summer.
   • Under Value, select Not Assigned to Student.
10. Click on Add Attribute.
    
    • Use the Attribute drop down menu to select Registration Hold.
    • Under Value, select Not Assigned to Student.
11. Click on Add Attribute.
    
    • Use the Attribute drop down menu to select Probation.
    • Under Value, select Not Assigned to Student.
      
12. Click Submit.
13. Your student list will change to show current students who are not registered for the upcoming semester.

Email Unregistered Students

After adding your filter, you can email this list of unregistered students.

1. Check the box next to Name to select all students on the page. NOTE: If there are multiple pages of students, you will need to repeat this for each page in order to select all students.
   
2. Click Message.
   
3. Type your Subject and Email.
   
4. When finished, click Submit.
5. For all students selected, an email will be sent to their Buffalo State email address.
