If Information Technology has made macOS Catalina upgrade available to your department, follow the steps below to perform an in-place upgrade.
Step-By-Step Guide
- Open the Self Service application and sign-in with your Buffalo State credentials.
- On the right side, click macOS Catalina Upgrade and then click Install.
- This macOS Catalina Upgrade message will appear from the menu bar.
Please Note: The upgrade process should now begin. Your computer will restart to continue the process. When prompted, click Continue and select the disk on which to install (typically Macintosh HD). Please allow at least one hour to complete the upgrade.
