Steps for uploading video/audio files to an Ensemble Dropbox

  1. Use the URL or link provided by your instructor to access the dropbox.
  2. Enter all information that is required by your instructor. Your first and last name, email address, and content title are required fields.
  3. Upload File (Limit 12 GB): The submitter can use the:
    1. Web Browser to select a file to Upload or Drag and Drop a video file into the Dropbox uploader in the web browser.
    2. Mobile App to record and upload a video file into the Dropbox uploader from the mobile app.
    3. Chrome Recorder Extension to record and upload a video file into the Dropbox uploader from the Chrome Recorder Extension.
  4. Once your file has been uploaded, your will see a screen confirming your submission. If you do not receive this confirmation, your file has not been uploaded successfully.

Troubleshooting video uploads

  1. Make sure your device/apps are updated
  2. Minimize the number of other program running/tabs open at the same time
  3. Make sure the device isn't set to go to sleep during the upload time
  4. Restart the device if possible
  5. Make sure you have a good internet connection for an extended period, as the uploads may take sometime (i.e. hard-wired if possible, as close to your router as possible, WiFi vs. data whenever possible)
